Embroidery quality starts before the first stitch
AJDN embroiders in-house using Tajima and Meistergram machines and more than 800 available thread colours. Before production, we assess the size, stitch construction, fabric, placement and thread. This helps prevent small details from closing up or a logo from becoming unnecessarily stiff and heavy.
You can order suitable garments through AJDN or supply your own unworn and unwashed items. We produce from one piece, can process recurring webshop orders on demand and support larger quantities with samples, stock and fulfilment.

Up to and including 5,000 stitches, the 5,000-stitch row applies. Above this, the stitch count is rounded up to the next started 1,000 stitches. Above 15,000 stitches, the calculation continues with €0.50, €0.45, €0.40, €0.35, €0.30, €0.25 or €0.20 respectively per additional started 1,000 stitches, depending on the quantity tier.

File, sample and ownership
Clear in advance what you receive and what it costs
- Preferably supply AI, EPS or PDF; a transparent PNG at production size and 300 dpi can also be assessed.
- For 1–11 pieces, digitising or artwork charges start at €10. These separate charges do not apply from 12 pieces or for integrated webshop on-demand production.
- A paid physical sample is available from one piece. One physical production sample is free with a confirmed production order of 100 pieces or more.
- AJDN retains the embroidery production file for repeat orders. If you want to purchase the file, it costs €4 per started 1,000 stitches; you receive EMB and DST files and may use them elsewhere.
- We receive production, design and logo files exclusively by email at info@ajdn.com, not through WhatsApp.
From artwork to dispatch
How an embroidery order works at AJDN
Request and file
State the garment type, quantity, position, required size and required dispatch date. Files are supplied by email.
Technical check
We determine the stitch construction, expected stitch count, material behaviour, thread colours and suitable method.
Approval or sample
Where technically useful, you receive a digital production preview. A physical sample can be ordered separately.
Production and inspection
After the required approval and once garments and material are available, we produce and inspect every application.
Planning and quality
Production time, rush orders and customer-supplied garments
A standard production order is normally dispatched within 1–5 working days. Integrated webshop on-demand orders have an average production time of one working day. The period starts after the order or quotation has been approved, the file is technically suitable, any design has been approved and the required garments or materials are available or received. Transit time is not included.
Rush production is possible after checking stock, material and production planning. Any evening surcharge is always confirmed in advance. Customer-supplied garments must be unworn and unwashed, are technically assessed in advance and are processed at the customer’s risk under the conditions for supplied items. For expensive garments, we recommend a test first.
Wash embroidered garments at a maximum of 30 °C, inside out, without tumble drying or bleach, and do not iron directly over the decoration. The strictest instruction for the garment or finish takes precedence.
Practical answers
Frequently asked questions about garment embroidery
Which is better for my logo: embroidery or printing?
Embroidery gives a durable, premium textile finish and suits polos, jackets, caps and workwear. Printing is often better for photographs, gradients and very fine details.
Can I order embroidered clothing from one piece?
Yes. AJDN can produce from one piece. The unit price normally decreases at higher quantities because preparation and setup are spread across the order.
Can I supply my own clothing?
Yes, after we check the fabric, seams, lining and access to the embroidery position. We recommend a test for delicate or valuable garments.
Which file do you need for embroidery?
A vector AI, EPS or PDF is preferred; a sharp PNG may also work. We convert the artwork into an embroidery file with stitches, underlay and thread colours.
Do I pay for the embroidery file again on a repeat order?
We retain an approved production file for repeat orders. New preparation may only be needed when the logo, size, material or execution changes.
How large and detailed can embroidery be?
This depends on the fabric, position and design. Very small text and thin lines may close up, so we advise a size and simplification that remain legible.
How should embroidered clothing be washed?
Always follow the garment care label, wash inside out where possible and avoid bleach. Do not iron directly over the embroidery.
What determines the embroidery price?
Mainly stitch count, size, number of positions, quantity, garment type and individual names. We provide a clear quote after checking the artwork.
