What are DTF transfers?
DTF (Direct to Film) is a transfer process in which a full-colour design with a white underbase is printed onto film. After powdering and curing, you apply the transfer to the material with a heat press.
You do not have to create a complete gang sheet. One transparent logo, the required final size and the quantity are enough; AJDN lays out the gang sheet free of charge. Transfers are supplied on a roll as standard.

What is the minimum order and how does AJDN calculate partial metres?
The minimum is one linear metre with a safe print width of 56 cm. Up to and including 20 cm above a full metre is rounded down, above 20 and below 80 cm is charged at the actual length, and from 80 cm is rounded up. The lower tier applies at 4 and 11 billed metres.
How much do DTF transfers cost per metre?
The public business prices excluding VAT are €17.50 per metre for 1–3 metres, €15 per metre for 4–10 metres and €12.50 per metre from 11 metres. Recurring high-volume business customers can request an individual pricing agreement.
Do I need to build a gang sheet and which files can I send?
No. A transparent logo, final size and quantity are enough; AJDN builds the gang sheet at no extra charge. Email PNG, AI, EPS or PSD to info@ajdn.com, not through WhatsApp. Raster files must be at least 300 dpi at actual size; Adobe RGB (1998) is preferred.
How quickly does AJDN produce DTF transfers?
We normally produce the same or next working day once the request is complete, the artwork is technically suitable and the schedule is confirmed. Urgent or same-day production is available only after explicit confirmation. Transit time is separate.
Can I request a free DTF sample metre first?
Yes. AJDN supplies a maximum of one free sample metre composed by us per business or delivery address every twelve months. AJDN determines its contents. Testing your own logo is a paid proof. Collection in Ridderkerk is free; shipping costs apply.
How do I press AJDN DTF transfers?
The transfer is hot peel. Guidance: cotton 135 °C and polyester 125 °C, both for 12 seconds at medium pressure; cardboard 90 °C for 10 seconds at light pressure. Test leather and denim from the cotton setting. A protected second press for 10 seconds at medium pressure is recommended.
Which materials accept DTF transfers?
DTF can be applied to cotton, polyester, denim, cardboard and technically suitable leather. We do not recommend nylon or unknown coatings without an adhesion test.
How do I wash DTF and store unpressed transfers?
Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash. Wash inside out at a maximum of 30 °C, do not tumble dry and do not iron directly over the print. Store unpressed transfers in a dark, dry place; the guideline shelf life is 6 to 12 months.
