What does AJDN mean by on-demand clothing production?
On-demand means that AJDN aligns production with an actual webshop order or with stock agreed in advance. You do not need to manufacture every size, colour and design as a finished collection before you start selling.
The process can start small and grow with your brand. In an order-led model, AJDN orders the blank garment after the customer order arrives. In a stock-led model, agreed fast-selling garments are ready in Ridderkerk. A hybrid model combines both.

Choose order-led, stock-led or hybrid production
Order-led on-demand
AJDN orders the garment after the connected webshop order is received. This limits stock risk and suits collections with many sizes, colours or designs.

Stock-led on-demand
Agreed garments are held based on a forecast or customer agreement. AJDN produces and checks the item after receiving the webshop order.

- Friday cut-off is 12:00
- Product, file and order data must be production-ready
Hybrid production
Keep proven bestsellers in stock while less predictable variants remain order-led. This combines speed for popular products with lower stock exposure elsewhere.

Friday after 12:00: only an entirely production-ready product that merely needs picking and packing may still leave on Friday after an operational check. This is not an automatic dispatch promise.
Realistic lead times
When does production time begin?
Production time starts once the order or quotation is approved, the production file is technically suitable, any design supplied by AJDN is approved and all required garments and materials are available or received.
Lead times apply to working days only. AJDN communicates when an order is dispatched; carrier transit and delivery are separate. We contact you first if an address, file, stock position or order instruction is incomplete.
Ordinary production orders normally take 1–5 working days. Fully production-ready work within an established webshop process averages one working day. Rush production is only accepted after stock, files, capacity and planning have been confirmed.
WooCommerce, Shopify and a test order
From webshop order to production and tracking
The technical connection between WooCommerce or Shopify and AJDN’s order system can normally be activated by appointment in about five minutes once the correct temporary administrator access is available. AJDN’s account can be removed again afterwards.
The five minutes refer only to activating the technical connection. Products, variants, SKUs, production files, prices, shipping rules and exceptions are configured and checked separately.
New orders can be imported automatically. Order statuses and tracking codes can be returned to the webshop. You manage products, variants and retail prices; AJDN links the approved production data and files. We always run a test order before launch.
Other webshop platforms and API routes are assessed during a technical intake. General AJDN or supplier stock is not presented as universally synchronised webshop stock; only specifically agreed customer-owned stock can be used as a confirmed stock source.
Production and brand finishing
What can be processed for each webshop order?
Blank garments and customer stock
Choose from more than 200 brands. The Stanley/Stella and Oltex collections can be viewed and tried in the Ridderkerk showroom; AS Colour is available to order and is being added to the showroom in stages.
DTG, DTF and DTM
Full-colour prints, chest and back designs, names, numbers, neck-label formats and special effects can be linked per product and variant.
Embroidery from one item
Flat, 3D, Full Colour, Appliqué, Chenille and Embossed embroidery can be included following a technical review.
Labels and individual data
Add printed neck labels, supplied woven labels, size or care labels, hangtags, barcodes, QR codes, SKUs, names and numbers.
Blank or finished stock
AJDN can hold blank garments and finished printed or embroidered products. Minimum stock by size or colour is agreed only where needed.
White-label shipping
Combine production with packaging, dispatch, tracking and returns inspection. Detailed logistics terms are set out on the relevant service pages.
Stock and ownership
Clear ownership of every garment
Garments purchased and finished for the customer remain the customer’s property. Blank clothing that has not been invoiced remains AJDN property. Customer-owned stock can be tracked through the connected webshop, agreed administration or the AJDN App.
AJDN alerts the customer or replenishes according to the agreed process when stock runs low. Returns can be inspected and returned to customer stock where suitable.

Transparent cost structure
What makes up the price per order?
AJDN charges no on-demand setup fee and has no minimum monthly volume. Each order can include the garment, production per position, labels or brand finishing, packaging and shipping.
The public business starting prices on the relevant technique pages apply. Garments, additional positions, dimensions, ink, stitch count, special materials and design work are charged separately where applicable. Business prices exclude 21% VAT.
When fulfilment is included, storage, stock receiving, packaging materials, shipping labels, carrier charges and exceptional returns or warehouse work may apply. These terms are confirmed before launch.
Communication and files
One shared source of information for every employee
Use the AJDN App for central communication, enquiries and contact with an employee. This keeps questions and agreements visible to colleagues working on your customer and production flow.
Send new production, design and logo files only by email to info@ajdn.com. WhatsApp is for short questions, not for file storage. After onboarding, approved production files and mock-ups can be managed through your account.
If a file is unsuitable, AJDN explains what needs to change. Simple file preparation or technical correction is available from €20.

What is on-demand clothing production?
A garment is personalised and processed only after a sales order. This reduces the amount of finished stock a brand must hold per design and size.
Which brands benefit from on-demand production?
Start-ups, growing webshops, merchandise, creators and brands with many designs or variable demand. The method and lead time must match the customer promise.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Per-order production may start from one item. Blank garments, specialist labels and packaging can still have purchasing or stock minimums.
Can I use my own clothing and designs?
Yes. We check garments, artwork and personalisation method and record the approved production standard after sampling.
Can AJDN connect to my webshop?
We assess the platform, order fields, variants and required status updates. An integration is confirmed only after technical feasibility and responsibilities are clear.
How is quality kept consistent for every order?
Through approved files, fixed positions, material choices and checkpoints. New garments or changed designs are tested again.
How quickly is an on-demand order dispatched?
Lead time depends on stock, method, positions and order timing. During onboarding we agree realistic production times and exceptions.
What costs are involved?
Garment, personalisation, handling, labels or packaging, system processing, storage and shipping. The order profile determines which components apply.
